Our Vetting Approach — What We Check and Why
Unlike conventional online dating and relationship platforms, UK Rishta Limited operates a human-led vetting and safeguarding process designed to establish identity, eligibility and accountability before members participate in our communities.
Depending on the service and circumstances, our vetting process may involve reviewing identity documents, passport information, driving licence information, evidence of legal status and DBS documentation, together with other information relevant to identity, safety and safeguarding.
The purpose of this process is not to guarantee a person’s future behaviour or character. It is to reduce avoidable risks, identify inconsistencies or safeguarding concerns, promote authenticity and accountability, and help create safer communities for our members.
Vetting information is handled by authorised members of the relevant Vetting Team for legitimate identity, safety and vetting purposes and is not made available to other members simply because they use the platform.
This Code sets out the professional, ethical, vetting, safeguarding and accountability standards that UK Rishta Limited expects to uphold across its platforms, services and people.
