Vetted Matches – Successful Match £150 Contribution
Vetted Matches is pleased to offer eligible members the opportunity to receive a contribution of up to £150 towards the cost of one date where a Vetted Matches introduction results in a genuine and successful romantic relationship.
This initiative is designed to recognise and celebrate couples who have genuinely found their match through Vetted Matches and to share their success story with others.
The £150 contribution is conditional and is not an automatic payment for attending a date.
By participating in this initiative, members confirm that they have read, understood and agreed to all of the requirements below before making a claim.
1. Successful Vetted Match
For this initiative, a Successful Vetted Match means that two individuals who were introduced through Vetted Matches have:
* met following their Vetted Matches introduction;
* developed a genuine romantic relationship;
* dated and spent time getting to know each other as a couple; and
* remained together in that relationship for a minimum of six months following their initial date.
At the six-month stage, both individuals must confirm that they are genuinely together as a couple and that their relationship is continuing.
Simply remaining in contact, communicating, corresponding, maintaining a friendship or having an occasional social connection does not constitute a Successful Vetted Match.
The purpose of the six-month requirement is to establish that the Vetted Matches introduction has resulted in a genuine and continuing relationship.
2. No Guaranteed Relationship
Vetted Matches does not guarantee that any introduction or date will result in a romantic relationship, marriage, engagement, long-term partnership or any other particular outcome.
Relationships are personal decisions made by the individuals involved.
The £150 contribution is therefore a success-based contribution, payable only where all of the requirements of these Terms & Conditions have been satisfied.
3. The £150 Contribution
Where a Successful Vetted Match has been established, and all other requirements have been satisfied, Vetted Matches will contribute up to £150 towards the cost of one eligible date undertaken by the couple.
The eligible date does not have to be the couple’s first date.
The couple may claim against:
* their first date;
* their second date;
* their third date; or
* any subsequent date during their relationship.
The maximum contribution is £150 in total.
Where the eligible date cost less than £150, the contribution will be limited to the actual eligible amount spent.
Where the eligible date cost £150 or more, the maximum contribution will be £150.
Vetted Matches will never pay more than the actual eligible expenditure incurred or more than the £150 maximum.
4. Eligible Date
The date claimed must have taken place between the two individuals who were introduced or connected through Vetted Matches.
The contribution cannot be claimed for a date involving another person or for an unrelated social occasion.
The purpose of the contribution is to recognise the successful relationship that developed from the Vetted Matches introduction.
5. Receipt and Evidence of Expenditure
The couple must retain the original receipt or other reasonable evidence showing the actual expenditure incurred for the date being claimed.
Vetted Matches may request:
* an original or electronic receipt;
* booking confirmation;
* payment record; or
* other reasonable evidence of the expenditure.
Altered, duplicated, fraudulent or otherwise unverifiable receipts or evidence will not be accepted.
Where the expenditure cannot reasonably be verified, Vetted Matches reserves the right to refuse the contribution.
6. Six-Month Relationship Requirement
The six-month milestone is an essential requirement of the Successful Match contribution.
Approximately six months after the couple’s initial Vetted Matches date, Vetted Matches may contact both individuals to confirm that:
* they have continued dating;
* they have developed a genuine romantic relationship;
* they are still together as a couple; and
* they are happy to confirm that their relationship resulted from their Vetted Matches introduction.
Both individuals must independently confirm the relationship where reasonably possible.
Vetted Matches may ask reasonable questions about the development of the relationship for the purpose of verification.
Vetted Matches will not require unnecessarily intrusive or private information.
7. Remaining in Contact Does Not Qualify
For the avoidance of doubt, the six-month requirement is not satisfied simply because the two individuals have remained in contact.
The couple must have formed and maintained an actual romantic relationship.
The following will not, by themselves, qualify as a Successful Vetted Match:
* remaining friends;
* occasionally communicating;
* exchanging messages or telephone calls;
* following each other on social media;
* maintaining contact without being in a relationship; or
* having gone on one or more dates without subsequently forming an ongoing relationship.
The purpose of this initiative is to recognise couples who have genuinely found a relationship through Vetted Matches.
8. Mandatory Podcast and Success Story Participation
Participation in the Successful Match initiative is conditional upon both individuals agreeing to participate in a Vetted Matches podcast, recorded interview or other agreed success-story feature.
The purpose of this requirement is to allow Vetted Matches to share genuine success stories and demonstrate the real-life outcomes that can result from the service.
The couple may be asked to discuss:
* how they were introduced through Vetted Matches;
* their first date and how their relationship developed;
* their experience of the Vetted Matches vetting and matching process;
* how their relationship progressed during the six months; and
* their experience of becoming a couple through Vetted Matches.
Both individuals must understand and accept this requirement before making a claim for the £150 contribution.
If either individual does not agree to participate in the required podcast, recorded interview or success-story feature, the couple will not be eligible to receive the £150 contribution.
9. Mandatory Testimonial and Honest Review
Both individuals must also agree to provide an honest testimonial about their experience with Vetted Matches as part of the Successful Match initiative.
The couple may also be invited to provide an honest review on Google or another relevant review platform.
Any testimonial or review must be genuine and reflect the individual’s experience.
Vetted Matches does not require or request a falsely positive review.
However, agreement to provide the required honest testimonial and participate in the Vetted Matches success-story process is a condition of receiving the £150 contribution.
If either individual refuses to provide the required testimonial or refuses to participate in the agreed promotional process, the couple will forfeit their eligibility for the £150 contribution.
10. Publicity and Promotional Use
By participating in the Successful Match initiative, members acknowledge that the purpose of the initiative includes sharing genuine success stories for Vetted Matches marketing, promotional and public-awareness purposes.
Participants must therefore be willing to be publicly associated with their Vetted Matches success story.
Where photographs, video, audio recordings, names, quotations or other identifiable material are to be published, Vetted Matches will obtain the appropriate consent and explain the intended use.
Participants should not make a claim for the £150 contribution if they are unwilling to participate publicly in the agreed podcast, interview or success-story activity.
If a participant subsequently decides that they do not wish to participate in the agreed promotional activity, the £150 contribution will not be payable.
11. Understanding These Terms Before Making a Claim
Before making a claim, both individuals are responsible for reading and understanding these Terms & Conditions.
In particular, both individuals must understand that the £150 contribution is conditional upon:
1. the Vetted Matches introduction resulting in a genuine romantic relationship;
2. the couple remaining together for at least six months;
3. the successful relationship being reasonably verified;
4. the claimed date expenditure being genuine and verifiable;
5. both individuals agreeing to participate in the Vetted Matches podcast, interview or success-story feature; and
6. both individuals agreeing to provide an honest testimonial and participate in the agreed promotional process.
A couple who satisfies the six-month relationship requirement but does not agree to the required podcast, testimonial and success-story participation will not qualify for the £150 contribution.
By submitting a claim, both individuals confirm that they understand and accept these conditions.
12. Verification of a Successful Match
Vetted Matches reserves the right to verify a claim before making any contribution.
Reasonable verification may include confirming:
* that the individuals were introduced through Vetted Matches;
* that they subsequently met;
* that the claimed date took place;
* that the expenditure was genuinely incurred;
* that the receipt or other evidence is genuine;
* that the individuals have developed a genuine romantic relationship; and
* that the couple remained together for at least six months.
Vetted Matches may communicate separately with either or both individuals where reasonably necessary to verify the claim.
The purpose of verification is to protect the integrity of the initiative and ensure that the contribution is awarded to genuine successful couples.
13. Fraud, Misrepresentation or Abuse
Any attempt to obtain the contribution by providing false, misleading, exaggerated or fraudulent information may result in the claim being rejected.
This includes, but is not limited to:
* submitting an altered or fraudulent receipt;
* falsely claiming that a relationship exists;
* falsely claiming that a relationship has continued for six months;
* submitting expenditure that did not relate to the couple’s date;
* attempting to claim expenditure relating to another person; or
* deliberately providing misleading information to obtain the contribution.
Where Vetted Matches reasonably believes that the initiative has been used primarily or solely for the purpose of obtaining a financial benefit, it reserves the right to refuse the contribution and may take further action under the wider Vetted Matches Terms & Conditions.
14. Timing of the Contribution
The £150 contribution will only be considered once the six-month Successful Match requirement has been satisfied and the required verification has been completed.
The contribution will not normally be payable immediately following the first date.
This is because the purpose of the initiative is to recognise a successful relationship, rather than simply attendance at a date.
15. No Obligation to Remain in a Relationship
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions requires either individual to remain in a relationship against their wishes.
The six-month requirement is intended to identify relationships that have naturally developed and continued following a Vetted Matches introduction.
The £150 contribution must not be understood as an incentive to enter into or continue a relationship solely for financial benefit.
16. Right to Refuse a Contribution
Vetted Matches reserves the right to refuse, withhold or decline a contribution where:
* the eligibility requirements have not been satisfied;
* the couple are no longer in a romantic relationship at the six-month stage;
* the relationship cannot reasonably be verified;
* the claimed expenditure cannot reasonably be verified;
* required evidence has not been provided;
* either participant has not agreed to the required podcast, interview or success-story participation;
* either participant has not agreed to provide the required testimonial;
* information supplied is false or misleading;
* there is evidence of fraud or abuse; or
* Vetted Matches reasonably believes that the claim does not meet the purpose or requirements of this initiative.
Any decision will be made following the Vetted Matches verification process and subject to the participant’s rights under applicable law.
17. Acceptance of These Terms
By participating in the Vetted Matches Successful Match initiative and submitting a claim, each participant confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
Each participant acknowledges that:
* the £150 contribution is conditional;
* a genuine romantic relationship must have continued for at least six months;
* simply remaining in contact does not qualify;
* the relationship may be verified by Vetted Matches;
* the contribution is limited to a maximum of £150 towards one eligible date; and
* participation in the required podcast, success story and honest testimonial process is a condition of receiving the contribution.
Vetted Matches reserves the right to amend or update these Terms & Conditions where reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law.
